-portrait commissions:

The Friesen portrait was for Gil Friesen, former president of A& M records and board president of the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A. (MOCA.) The portrait is of his wife and son. The Anna Nicholas and Darius portrait was for the collector and her son.
Another commission I did was for Todd Stevens, a producer for the TV show "Friends." He wanted less of a portrait and more of a painting in line with some of my other studio work: the "distorted portraits" which have been featured in several gallery exhibitions.

-enter "Lorina in Hollywoodland" etching and photo project with text Lorina in Hollywoodland is a suite in progress consisting of 20 etchings and 20 photographs for a picture book with a story, etchings and photgraphs by David Glynn. Loosely inpired by "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, it is updated to a teenage girl named Lorina (after Alice Liddell's actual older sister who was also in the boat when Carroll first told his story.) "Lorina" grew up, not long ago, on the streets of Hollywood, taking it as her template on a search for what she thinks of as "magical pagentry." Her (fictional) story is told in the etchings and there are comments by her friend ( written with Ana Reyes who also modeled as her friend.)
